COMPLICATED CONSTRUCTION

How the item is made plays a primary roll in how costly it is to fix. If an item is solid all the way through it will absorb more heat than a hollow version of the same form. An example would be a cube versus a box. A cube can be soldered easily, but the air trapped inside a box would expand and explode the object if heated incorrectly.
